The American Akaushi Association is like many beef breed associations in the fact that they host a convention each year to provide educational and networking experiences for members. The educational opportunities available at the convention help producers learn more about one of the most unique breeds in the country. The 2018 American Akaushi Association Convention will be held in San Marcos, Texas, in October. The highlight of this year’s convention is a bus tour that discovers Akaushi cattle “From Ranch to Tableâ€.
